A New Chapter for Holme & Moss
In 2018, Holme & Moss began with one simple idea: to turn our shared love of beautiful fabrics, thoughtful gifting and everyday joys into something we could share with others.
What started around our kitchen table as a mother-and-daughter venture has grown into something we could never have imagined - a business that allows us to spend our days creating, curating and sharing products we genuinely love. Today, we're incredibly proud to offer everything from our handmade accessories and wellbeing gifts to Liberty Fabrics, stationery and carefully selected products from brands we love.
After eight years of creating, evolving and building a community of customers who share our passion for Liberty, we felt it was time for our brand to grow with us - introducing a new identity that reflects the business we are today.
Why change?
Our original logo has been with us since 2018. It's been part of every parcel we've packed, every order we've sent and every milestone we've celebrated.
But as Holme & Moss has grown, we began to realise our branding was only telling part of our story.
More than just a new logo
Over the past few months, we've been working behind the scenes with the incredible team at Picture Smiths to create a brand identity that reflects everything Holme & Moss stands for today: thoughtful, timeless and considered.
Together, we've developed a complete visual identity, a more cohesive look and feel, and a clearer way of telling our story.
Our new marketing material and packaging has been designed to elevate the gifting experience, creating something that feels just as special on the outside as the Liberty treasures inside.
The story behind our new look
Our new identity is more than a fresh logo - it's a visual reflection of who we've become and what Holme & Moss stands for today.
When we first named our business after the beautiful moorland we have called home for over 35 years, we never imagined how much that name would become part of our story. Our new identity brings a subtle nod back to those origins, while reflecting the creative and evolving business we've become.
At the heart of our new look is a beautiful bird icon, inspired by the place that gave us our name. Holding a branch, the bird represents home, craftsmanship and the journey of growth that has shaped Holme & Moss over the years.
We've introduced a new colour palette that brings a fresh, modern approach to the brand. Designed to sit beautifully alongside the timeless beauty of Liberty Fabrics, the colours are confident, considered and versatile - allowing us to create an identity that feels both contemporary and classic.
The combination of vibrant modern tones, traditional Liberty prints and a timeless design style reflects where Holme & Moss is today: celebrating the heritage of beautiful fabrics while continuing to look towards the future.
Our new brand toolkit gives us the flexibility to create a more consistent experience across our website, social media, packaging and printed materials, while embracing different colour combinations throughout the year.
What hasn't changed
Holme & Moss hasn't become a different business - we've simply created a brand that reflects the business we've already become.
Although the outside looks a little different, the heart of Holme & Moss remains exactly the same.
We're still a mother-and-daughter team.
Kate is still sewing and creating with the same care and craftsmanship she always has.
I'm still behind the scenes, looking after the website, photography, customer service, marketing and all the many hats that come with running a small business.
We remain dedicated to Liberty Fabrics, carefully curating products that celebrate the heritage, quality and timeless beauty of these iconic prints.
And we're still incredibly grateful for every single order, every kind message and every customer who chooses to support our small business.
Looking ahead
This new look isn't about leaving the old Holme & Moss behind.
It's about creating a brand that's ready for the next chapter.
We're excited to see our new identity come to life and continue evolving, while expanding our Liberty fabric collection, introducing new products and launching our beautiful new gift packaging - creating an even more thoughtful experience from the moment you discover Holme & Moss to the moment you unwrap your order.
