Add a little luxury to your headband collection with this exquisite silk crepe de chine Tropical Prince Liberty print.
This padded knot headband is softly cushioned for comfort, with a raised knot creating beautiful volume. Effortlessly luxe, this silk crepe de chine fabric has a natural lustre, matte finish, and a soft, yet slightly rough surface to touch.
This headband has been hand stitched by Kate, using the most opulent Liberty of London silk crepe de chine. Tropical Prince is drawn from a highly detailed and intricate Liberty paisley scarf, originally printed in 1970. Made up of dense curly leafy pine shapes, it almost resembles a sea of rhythmic waves.
What’s the difference between the padded knot headbands and the classic knot headbands?
Our padded knots are slightly narrower and softly cushioned for extra comfort. They also have a little more volume in the raised knot.
Our classic knot headbands are made with a wider band of fabric, which is fitted over a covered band. These have a smaller knot, and no padding.

Liberty of London Tana Lawn Cotton is a cotton unlike no other, a cotton that is luxurious and lightweight, smooth, durable and even machine washable.
Tana Lawn is named after Lake Tana in Ethiopia where the raw cotton was originally grown. The fabric is made with very long, fine cotton fibres and with a very high thread count which gives the fabric the most unique silky smooth feel.
It's easy to understand why Tana Lawn is one of Liberty's most well known and loved fabrics. No-one has a fabric composition, colour palette and gorgeous array of iconic patterns quite like Liberty.
Liberty of London silk crepe de chine has a beautiful and natural lustre, made more durable by its matte, slightly rough surface.
Effortlessly luxe, crepe de chine is a lightweight cloth similar to silk crepe, made with highly twisted years, with a non-gloss finish.
